Swiss-based Transmedia Communications has announced a new management structure designed to help the group grow internationally following the deployment of the iConcerts HDTV channel and digital platforms in over 80 countries, including mainland China.

As of the beginning of this month, Transmedia’s former COO Mathieu Sibille assumed the position of the groups’ CEO.
Meanwhile iConcerts founder and long-term CEO Etienne Mirlesse has become the executive chairman of the group, overseeing its overall strategy, new business activities, and key global partnerships with a particular focus on Asia.
Transmedia has also announced a creation of a UK-based subsidiary iConcerts Entertainment (iCE), which will be entirely focused on content sourcing and original productions.

iConcerts co-founder and editor In chief Natalia Tsarkova will take the helm of iCE, which will oversee all content acquisitions for the Transmedia group, as well as collaborations with international partners and sponsors.
iConcerts HD is owned by Transmedia Communications and the first 360º HDTV channel.
It is a VOD platform with over 1,600 concerts and live performances featuring top-selling artists in a variety of popular musical genres, and covering some of the most high-profile festivals and live events.
