installing problems with usbstick on 9900hd

Hello to all!

I lately bought a 9900hd box (twintuner sat), used, I have tried for several days now with 4 different usb sticks newly formatted with fat, to install a new image on the box.
Starting procedure is running smooth, but after displaying usb loading and various info concerning the unpacking of the image, ( ca. 30 seconds)the box continuous booting without installing the image.
The latest abcom image  with dualboot option is installed in flash, dated 06-2013.
Using the fourth different usbstick the box ended up in a enigma warmstart loop, i managed after several new cold boots to resolve that problem.
I tried two different , dedicated 9900hd images, that makes no difference whatsoever...
Anybody has a workaround or can tell me if there is a problem with the hardware?

I´d really appreciate to install another image on my box.... 
Any usefull suggestions from the specialists?

try this Image.

Installing new image to AB IPBox 99xxHD:

1. Download new image from web, unpack it to your PC.
   
2. Copy unpacked files to USB memory stick direct to root. You can have another files there.
   
3. Safety remove USB memory stick from PC and connect it to turned off box (to front or rear USB connector).
   
4. Turn box on and when “AB IPBox 99xxHD appears on front display just once press “Power button” on front panel – update image will start.
   
5. After image update box restarts itself and Wizard will start.

The usb-sata version has already bin tried, no luck so far, should i use the flash version, any special instructions on behalf of this image?
I´m able to connect trough telnet and ftp if needed.

I have installed the flash-version. It runs very good.
Use the instructions above.
I also tried the usb-sata-version, but it won't work.

Good afternoon!

Learning by doing....I´ve managed now to install the flashversion, but it turns out that the box itself has numerous serious problems.
The remote isn´t working anymore, the box has had several freezes in various booting stadia, a renewed flashing didn´t workout.
Game over,   I´m sending it back and hope for a refund, has to be a hardware problem, still thx a million for the prompt an proffesional solutions offered!

The beer is still on hold, if anybody has a decent and low budget alternative to offer...feel free to forward:-))
