How to install .tar.gz files??

The other one has two .img, where as the abcom has 4 .img files when upgrading by USB-key.

Hello Ksst123,

all you need for using this image are this two files:
usb_kernel and usb_rootfs.

Just put it on your USB-Stick and install it.

Hope this image is better than original one from 06.2011.

Just got a 9900HD to join with my previous 9000HD.
But recording, pip, and timeshift works less than expected.

I guess oscam works with this image aswell.


Btw: the two .img files. -> using usb-key and pressing powerbutton on box while booting?

Good morning,i have a 9000hd plus (2 tuners).I cant make the second tuner work, in loopthough to the first.I get a "tune failed" message,black picture and 0% signal in recordings and also pip doesnt work .I have a motorized dish connected to one tuner (i have tried both A and B) with "advanced" settings and "loopthough" settings to the other and the result is the same.I dont believe is a tuner problem, because when either A or B is connected direct to the lnb there is no problem.I have tried 4-5 dirrerent images with the same result.I have read in the internet that someone with a dual-lnb and two cables with a fixed dish, has no problem.If someone has the same configuration with mine and the second tuner works,please inform me which image he used and with what settings.I have also read that the second tuner problem is a known problem to the 99hd model, but not the 9900hd !?.Thanks in advance for your help.
p.s Vuo+ duo with the same set up works fine.
