Oscam-cccam

Hi Shark.

i have oscam in vodka image v. 0.11, i want to run cccam oscam combination.

do u have any idea or a good setup to run oscam as server in ipbox and cccam in dreambox.

i want to run irdeto 2 with original card mate.

You want to make 2 servers? One on cccam dreambox and one on oscam ipbox?
Please write a PM to me with more details, I don't understand entirelly what do you need.

I have a Cuberevo/IPBox 9000HD with INDBv7 image.

This is the only image I've found where it is possible to download a cccam emulator and have it running.

All other images only provide oscam emulator.

The problem with oscam emulator is that when the picture freeze, I have to restart the emulator manually. This is not needed when running cccam. It kind of restarts the process by itself.

So, my question is, is it possible to run an image and install the cccam emulator instead of oscam?

The reason for changing INDB image is that I cannot find any PVR functionality here :-(

1.Your cccam it's a modified mgcamd, because there is no real cccam for Sh4 processor based receivers.
2. You can install also on other images the cccam, you must find an ipk package for example and google for cccam sh4 for enigma2 (eventually Kathrein 910)
3. I fyou don't find an ipk package for install, but you found the cccam sh4 bin file, you can install another emu on the image and then change it with the cccam (rename it as the original emu and attributes 775 and place the config files in the corect folder.)

This sounds like a plan :-)

I do not use it now so I cannot test it.

Maybe some others can respond you, but as you see almost nobody wants to talk on this forum, even if the site has daily 250-450 visits, they are only waiting....that will lead soon to the end of the ipbox forum, I'm getting tired doing this...

Are you using any E2 images that you would recommend?

I used Vodka 011 earlier. It had the PVR working fine but it was embedded with oscam. It froze all the time recuiring manual restart. Now I'm using INDB. From it's menu it's possible to download emulators. There is a choice to download cccam. With it, picture doesn't freeze - but no PVR :-(

Need both things working :-)
