RCS&RDS takes internet lead
RCS&RDS will ramp up the pressure on its competitors next month by launching a new internet product offering access speeds of up to 1Gbps.
Available in over 150 urban locations, Digi Net Fiberlink 1000 will cost subscribers RON59 (€13.9) a month including VAT, with those wishing to receive the cheaper 500 Mbps Digi Net Fiberlink 500 being charged RON49 a month including VAT.
Besides being the country’s leading cable and DTH operator, RCS&RDS is the leading provider of fixed-line internet in Romania, with around 1.2 million subscribers.
It is now also offering the country’s fastest internet services.
UPC Romania is meanwhile rapidly rolling out its 200 Mbps offer, previously the fastest in the country, and is likely to follow in RCS&RDS’s footsteps by also launching a 1Gbps service.
